Insert the wheel drive shaft into the Differential until its splines extend beyond the j44394 while confirming that the retaining ring remains upright. Prevent lubricant leaks by handling the oil seal gently to avoid damage because changing it may be needed. First replace the wheel drive shaft with the retaining ring in position before inserting the wheels drive shaft until the ring becomes engaged. A pull on the inner housing part should exhibit full engagement of the retaining ring. Install the rear knuckle and tighten the new wheel drive shaft Spindle Nut only loosely.
