How to replace the fan shroud on Chevrolet Colorado?

Start replacement of the Fan Shroud by removing the Radiator Hose-outlet and then detachment of the Fan Shroud slip ring retaining clip before removing the transmission oil cooler lines that rest on the Fan Shroud retainer. The slip ring must be rotated from underneath the Fan Shroud before you uninstall the bolts from the Fan Shroud. Place the Fan Shroud on position on the vehicle before installing bolts while torquing them to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). Start by placing the transmission oil cooler lines onto the Fan Shroud retainer then rotate the slip ring to its proper position. After that, install the retaining clip to the Fan Shroud. Lastly, put back the Radiator Hose-outlet.
