The first step for Fan Shroud replacement of the engine coolant Fan Shroud (LLV, LLR) (2.9L, 3.7L) is to remove the Radiator Hose-outlet. Begin by unhooking the retainer which secures the differential vent hose before unlatching both a/c suction and discharge hose retainers. Use counterclockwise motion to rotate the slip ring away from under the Fan Shroud before taking out the Fan Shroud . Place the Fan Shroud correctly on the vehicle body then turn the slip ring to where it started before moving on with installation. The installation requires reattaching the differential vent hose retainer followed by the a/c suction hose retainer and finally the Radiator Hose-outlet together with the a/c discharge hose retainer.
