Install the breather tube according to the mark you made during removal and position it at the molded nipple of the Rack and Pinion Boot. Examine the Rack and Pinion Boot for deformations. Fix any twisting with manual adjustment before tightening the boot clamp using the j 22610 tool. Clamp the boot tightly then squeeze the pliers onto the Rack and Pinion Boot to fix the tie rod end clamp securely on its position. Treating the inner tie rod assembly with the hexagon jam nut marks the end of outer tie rod assembly construction.
