How to replace the rear door window channel on GMC Canyon?

The replacement of the rear door window run channel requires starting with the rear door window positioned fully up followed by removal of the rear door trim panel and both the rear inside Door Handle and rear door speaker and the rear door water deflector. The process begins with bolt removal that holds the rear door window run channel to the inner door panel so you can slide the channel downward out of the upper window frame before removing the part from the rear door. The window run channel can be installed by inserting it back into the rear door before moving it up into the upper window frame. Secure the bolt that safeguards the rear door window run channel to the inner door panel by tightening it to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Reinstallation of the following components includes the rear door water deflector followed by the rear door speaker and the rear inside Door Handle and the rear door trim panel.

How to replace the rear side door window channel on GMC Acadia?

Remove the weather strip/run channel from its opening in the window frame and on the upper door frame. Twist and pull to detach it downward then take it off the door. Place each weather strip/run channel end at the upper door frame then push its sides inward before pressing the channel into the window frame opening.
