How to replace the wheel cylinder on Chevrolet Colorado?

Before replacing the Wheel Cylinder you need to remove the rear brake shoes first. Protect the brake system by capping the brake pipe fitting and plugging the Wheel Cylinder while you disconnect those components. First you should unscrew the Wheel Cylinder bolts and lift out the Wheel Cylinder . After positioning the new Wheel Cylinder install the Wheel Cylinder bolts then tighten them to 18 nm (13 lb ft). Attach the brake pipe to the Wheel Cylinder and tighten it at 19 nm (14 lb ft) torque. Reinstall the brake shoes at the rear part and complete the Wheel Cylinder bleeding according to hydraulic brake system standards.

How to replace the wheel cylinder on Chevrolet S10?

Remove the brake shoes first, then take off the brake pipe and unfasten the two bolts that hold the Wheel Cylinder before taking it off. Make sure you position the new Wheel Cylinder first and refer to the fastener notice in service precautions when doing so. Follow this by putting in the bolts and torquing them to 13 nm (115 inch lbs.), and then connecting the brake pipe to the wheel cyl when you are finished, set the brake shoes back on and bleed the brake system to finish.

Remove the brake shoes first, then take off the brake pipe and unfasten the two bolts that hold the Wheel Cylinder before taking it off. Make sure you position the new Wheel Cylinder first and refer to the fastener notice in service precautions when doing so. Follow this by putting in the bolts and torquing them to 13 nm (115 inch lbs.), and then connecting the brake pipe to the wheel cyl when you are finished, set the brake shoes back on and bleed the brake system to finish.
