How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on Chevrolet Colorado?

You should first open the hood and support it, then take out the washer solvent container. Pull outward on the top of the pump to take it off the container, then use 2 flat-bladed tools to gently lift the sides and carefully free the pump from the grommet. Take out the Washer Pump from the container and get rid of both the pump and the grommet. To put the Washer Pump in place, drop the grommet into the washer solvent container and put some washer solvent on the pump's intake spout for smooth installation. Press the pump into the grommet, make sure the top of the pump is fastened to the washer container, put back the washer solvent container, and close the hood.

How to replace the windshield washer pump and reservoir on Chevrolet S10?

First lift and stabilize the hood before draining the washer solvent vessel. Disconnect all electrical links and fluid lines from the washer pumps and pull out the screw locking the solvent bottle to the vehicle and the bottle itself. Take away the washing pump parts and grommets from the solvent storage compartment. Follow the fastener precaution directions when you put washer pumps and grommets onto the solvent container during installation. Secure the solvent container back onto the vehicle by screwing it in place then tightening to 3 N.m (27 lb in). Attach washer pump and electrical units to their proper spots before adding new washer fluid to the reservoir and closing the hood.
