Begin by elevating and supporting the vehicle and placing a drain pan below it. Take off transaxle oil cooler fittings (28,29) from the transaxle before retrieving the transaxle oil cooler fittings (28,29) from the Transmission Oil Cooler hoses. Implement gm p/n 8651654 for the green inlet cooler fitting and gm p/n 24202550 and gm p/n 8654382 for the outlet cooler fittings and line pressure plug when applying the sealant to (28,29) transaxle oil cooler fittings. Fasten the transaxle oil cooler fittings (28,29) onto the transaxle with a torque of 38 nm (28 ft. Lbs.). After fitting transaxle oil cooler hoses to their connections you may lower the vehicle. Transaxle fluid levels must be measured accurately to avoid foaming and prevent both fluid loss and shift complaints and damage to the system. Check fluid levels before inspecting the vehicle for leaks then remove the drain pan beneath the vehicle.
