How to replace the Transmission Oil Cooler on a 4L60-E/4L65-E on Chevrolet Avalanche 1500?

You need to start the front grill assembly removal process after placing a drain pan beneath the vehicle. First disconnect the Transmission Oil Cooler lines from the auxiliary cooler unit then remove the auxiliary oil cooler bolts and push pins before you remove it from your vehicle. After fitting installation of the auxiliary oil cooler simply position it in place then install bolts and push pins to the radiator brace while tightening all bolts to 12 nm (9 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the front grill assembly while you restore the Transmission Oil Cooler lines to their attachment points on the auxiliary cooler unit.
