In order to remove the clutch Release Bearing, ensure the manual Transmission Assembly of the vehicle is removed first. It will also be important not to clean the clutch Release Bearing using a degreaser or solvents as this could harm the bearing seals; otherwise, use a clean solvent-free cloth. Finally, extract clutch Release Bearing from the input shaft and the clutch release shaft fork. Clean the clutch Release Bearing with a clean, dry solvent-free towel and then examine for any external damages and smooth rotation; if any external damage is detected or the bearing fails to run well, replace the clutch Release Bearing. Do you apply a thin coat of wheel bearing lubricant (GM P/N 1051344 or equivalent) to the transmission input shaft. Next, fix the clutch release shaft fork into the transmission housing, and fix the clutch Release Bearing to the clutch release shaft fork . Finally, reinstall the manual Transmission Assembly into the vehicle.
