The replacement process of the power folding outside mirror switch begins by taking off the instrument panel (IP) bezel. A flat-bladed tool needs to be used in order to free the plastic retaining clips so the power folding mirror switch can be uninstalled. Disconnect the electrical connectors and then remove the power folding mirror switch from the IP accessory housing. First connect all electrical connectors then put the power folding mirror switch into the IP accessory housing until it locks into place. You will conclude by installing the power accessory switch panel.
