Once a collision with frontal air bag deployment happens, you should replace the EFS, front end discriminating sensor, IP module, 5DM, and steering wheel module. Also, look over the steering wheel module coil and coil wiring pigtail for melting, scorching, or signs of heat damage, and make sure the mounting points and and mounting hardware for the EFS, front end discriminating sensor, IP module, steering wheel module, and 5DM for damage, repairing or replacing each component as necessary.
