How to replace the upper control arm on 2007 Cadillac STS?

To maintain the upper control arm, first, lift and supports the vehicle, then pull out all the tire and wheel. Subsequently, take away the upper control arm to knuckle retaining nut making sure that the ball stud will not turn while in the process of disassembling. Remove the upper control arm from the knuckle using the J43631 Ball Joint Remover (J 43631). Afterwards, take off and throw away the above control arm to frame to mount the nuts and bolts. Once you have the upper control arm liberated, install the new upper control arm to the vehicle, loosely install all fasteners as you tighten them. Moving on to install the upper control arm to frame mounting bolts and nuts and then connecting the upper control arm to the knuckle. Tighten up the upper control arm to knuckle nut to 20 N.m (15 lb ft) additional 210 degrees, as well as tightening the new upper control arm to frame bolts and nuts to 120 N.m 89 lb ft. Lastly, reinstall the tire and wheel, and drop the vehicle.
