To change the link in the rear sway bar shaft begin by lifting and supporting the vehicle followed by tire and wheel detachment. Safety requires using a hex tool to grip the shaft link stud because it protects the link seal from damage. Before starting with the replacement work you need to take off the Sway Bar Link retaining nuts followed by unfastening the Sway Bar Link from both the sway bar and the lower Control Arm. After installation begin by connecting the Sway Bar Link to the lower Control Arm followed by the sway bar. Ensure to maintain a hold on the shaft link stud with a hex tool because it protects the link seal. Screw and tighten the Sway Bar Link retaining nuts to 90 n.m (67 lb ft). Place the tire and wheel back and lower the vehicle.
