How to properly service and replace the Parking Brake Shoe on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

In order to replace the parking brake shoe, derail the wheel bearing and hub. Get the parking brake adjusting nut turned so that it is not adjustable and then roll it off and pull out the shoe assembly. Installation of the new assembly, spring, re-installation of the hub, clearance adjustment and lowering of the vehicle.
