Start by disconnecting the connector position assurance (CPA) from its harness connector at the SIS. Then disconnect the harness connector from the SIS. Before mounting the SIS onto the center pillar wash the surface after which install the SIS into place using its mounting fasteners and tighten them to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
