How to service and repair the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2003 Cadillac CTS?

Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the bolt, CKP sensor and O-ring, then lower vehicle and remove RPO-specified panels to reach the pigtail. Disconnect harness, attach a pull wire, withdraw pigtail, and note routing. Reverse steps: guide pigtail back, reinstall sensor, tighten bolt, check routing, secure pigtail, refit panels.
