How to replace the wiper arm on GMC Sierra 1500?

Before replacing the Wiper Arm you need to position the Wiper Blade on the windshield using a marker or tape to mark the spot. Then detach the washer hose. To replace the Wiper Arm you need to remove the nut cover and then take off the nut with the Wiper Arm from the Drive Shaft using a battery terminal puller tool. Scrub the Drive Shaft knurls with a wire brush to clean them. Insert the Wiper Arm until the blade touches the mark you placed earlier on the windshield. Then attach the Wiper Arm to the Drive Shaft by hand and secure it with the nut at 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Attach the nut cover and reconnect the washer hose while clearing the windshield mark or masking tape and testing the wiper system.

How to replace the wiper arm on GMC Yukon?

Mark the Wiper Blade position on the windshield using marker tape and disconnect the washer hose to replace the Wiper Arm. Take off the nut cover and its nut from the Wiper Arm to install the battery terminal puller underneath the Wiper Arm and remove it from the Drive Shaft. Use a wire brush to clean all rough edges on the Drive Shaft. Align the Wiper Arm over the mark made earlier on the windshield and then attach the Wiper Arm onto the Drive Shaft followed by tightening the nut to 22 lb ft (30 N.m). Reinstall the washer cover and hose while cleaning the windshield mark or tape before running the wipers to test their functionality.

Before replacing the Wiper Arm you need to position the Wiper Blade on the windshield using a marker or tape to mark the spot. Then detach the washer hose. To replace the Wiper Arm you need to remove the nut cover and then take off the nut with the Wiper Arm from the Drive Shaft using a battery terminal puller tool. Scrub the Drive Shaft knurls with a wire brush to clean them. Insert the Wiper Arm until the blade touches the mark you placed earlier on the windshield. Then attach the Wiper Arm to the Drive Shaft by hand and secure it with the nut at 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Attach the nut cover and reconnect the washer hose while clearing the windshield mark or masking tape and testing the wiper system.

Use a wire brush to clean all rough edges on the Drive Shaft. Align the Wiper Arm over the mark made earlier on the windshield and then attach the Wiper Arm onto the Drive Shaft followed by tightening the nut to 22 lb ft (30 N.m). Reinstall the washer cover and hose while cleaning the windshield mark or tape before running the wipers to test their functionality.
