Before replacing the Wiper Arm you need to apply a marker or tape onto the windshield to keep the
Wiper Blade in position. Next disconnect the washer hose. You can remove the replacement parts starting with the battery terminal puller to take the Wiper Arm off its
Drive Shaft position. Wipe the Drive Shaft knurling with a steel brush. Place the Wiper Arm at the mark you set earlier on the windshield before fixing it to the Drive Shaft by hand tightening to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Fit the washer hose back into place then put the cover back on the nut before cleaning both the windshield and masking tape mark. Check if the wipers work as intended after starting the operation sequence.
