How to replace the auxiliary air temperature blend door actuator on GMC Yukon?

Before replacing the auxiliary air temperature actuator , take off the right rear quarter trim panel first. The next step is to pull off the electrical connector from the auxiliary air temperature actuator and take out the screws that hold it. After that, carefully take out the auxiliary air temperature actuator from the rear auxiliary HVAC module. Make sure the auxiliary air temperature actuator is lined up with the auxiliary HVAC module and attach it with the retaining screws, tightening them to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in). After that, join the electrical connector to the auxiliary air temperature actuator and put the right rear quarter trim panel back on.

How to replace the Blend Door Actuator on GMC Sierra 1500?

First, one has to pull out the IP insulator, in order to replace the air temperature actuator. Next, you have to disconnect the electrical connection from air temperature actuator and pull out retaining screws for the actuator. After the actuator is removed, install the new air temperature actuator paying attention to the Fastener Notice according to the Service Precautions on the right manner of installation. Fasten the actuator with the retaining screws, making sure that they are screwed to the value of 1.6 N.m (14 lb in). Then reconnect the elettrical connector back to the air ttemperature actuator and lastly reinstall IP insulator.
