How to replace the Ambient Temperature Sensor on GMC Sierra 1500?

Revision of the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor begins with removing the radiator grille from the vehicle. Initial steps involve removing the sensor's push pin retainer on the radiator support brace then disconnecting the electrical connector from the sensor. Follow these steps to install the sensor: hook up the electrical connector to the device and put it back onto the radiator support brace using the push pin retainer. Last, reinstall the vehicle's radiator grille.

How to replace the Ambient Temperature Sensor on GMC Yukon?

In order to replace the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor, remove the radiator grille of the vehicle first. Remove next push pin retainer holding sensor to radiator support brace and disconnect electrical connector from sensor. To install, attach the electrical connector to the sensor, re-install the sensor to the radiator support brace, and fasten it with the push pin retainer. Finally, install the radiator grille back to the vehicle.
