To replace the air temperature actuator, you need to disconnect the connector from the will first take off the instrument panel carrier to disconnect the electrical connector. Next, remove the retaining screws for the air temperature actuator and remove the actuator from the hvac module. For installation, place the new air temperature actuator onto the hvac module and make sure it is seated on the locating tab, and then screw it with the retaining screws by screwing it to 1.9 n.m (17 lb ft ). Finally, reconnect the electrical connector and replace instrument panel carrier.
