    Service and repair operations for the Pressure Plate need to begin with transmission removal. The service begins with slowly loosening clutch cover bolts until spring pressure decreases before removing the clutch cover with its attached Clutch Disc. The heavy section of the Flywheel assembly should match up with the lightweight section of the clutch cover for proper installation. Clutch alignment arbor (J 43482) will support the clutch cover when it is mounted to the Flywheel assembly. The installation of clutch cover to Flywheel bolt requires a precise sequence for tightening which needs to reach 24 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Use the clutch alignment arbor (J 43482) once completion. The inside diameter of the bearing should get lubrication from saturn p/n 21005995 or an equivalent while avoiding excess lubricant on input shaft splines which might contaminate the Clutch Disc and lead to clutch shudder. After the transmission reinstallation process users should finalize by bleeding the hydraulic system and connecting the negative Battery Cable.
