How to service and repair the pressure plate on 2006 Chevrolet HHR?

In order to service the pressure plate, loosen the bolts of the transmission and clutch cover till the spring pressure is helped and then remove the clutch cover and disc. Position the flywheel assembly with the clutch cover, fit bolts and do not apply too much lubricant on the input shaft splines. Install the transmission again and join the battery cable.
