When removing the wheel and tire you need to use a hex tool on the Sway Bar Link stud to prevent damaging the link seal. First disconnect the Sway Bar Link by removing its retaining nuts before separating it from both sway bar and lower Control Arm. The installation process requires attaching the Sway Bar Link to the lower Control Arm before connecting it to the sway bar while using the hex tool to maintain pressure on the Sway Bar Link stud to protect the link seal. Fasten the Sway Bar Link retaining nuts by applying torque of 66 nm (49 lb ft). When complete return the tire followed by the wheel then lower down the vehicle completely.
