Start the replacement process of valve Rocker Arm and push rods by taking out the Rocker Arm cover while keeping the rocker arms pushrods and pivot support arranged in a rack to show their original positions. Proceed by removing both Rocker Arm bolts and their accompanying rocker arms and Rocker Arm pivot support with the pushrods. Proceed with inspection and cleaning of the Rocker Arm components. The reinstallation process requires clean engine oil for lubricating both the rocker arms and pushrods as well as the flange of the Rocker Arm bolts. Put in the Rocker Arm pivot support while checking the pushrods correctly sit inside the valve lifter sockets before placing in the pushrods and making sure they settle properly into the rocker arms before proceeding without bolt tightening. Position the number one Piston at top dead center (TDC) of the compression stroke by rotating the Crankshaft so that the cylinder number one rocker arms clear lobe lift and the Crankshaft sprocket key points towards 1:30. When the engine stands at position number one keep valve bolt torque at 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) for exhaust valves in cylinders 1, 2, 7, 8 and for intake valves in cylinders 1, 3, 4, 5. To complete the procedure you need to shift the Crankshaft by 360 degrees before tightening the Rocker Arm bolts for exhaust valves 3, 4, 5, 6 to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) and the Intake Valve bolts 2, 6, 7, 8 to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.). Place the Rocker Arm cover into position as the last step.
