Begin the hydraulic Clutch Hose/pipe (CTS) replacement process by verifying whether coolant must be drained. At the same time you need to confirm if coolant lines need disconnection from the coolant surge tank. Position the tank aside by removing its bolts because the coolant surge tank does not need to be drained. Before removing the clutch Hydraulic Hose from the Clutch Master Cylinder the technician must first remove its retaining clip but plug and cap hose and cylinder fittings to maintain fluid integrity. Support the vehicle while removing the retaining clip from the Clutch Slave Cylinder until you disconnect the clutch Hydraulic Hose from the same area because the check valves will minimize fluid loss during the procedure. Remove the clutch Hydraulic Hose from the vehicle's position.
