How to replace the front engine mount on 2009 Chevrolet Equinox?

The first step to replace the engine front mount begins with properly lifting and supporting the vehicle. Place both a jack-stand along with a block of wood under the Oil Pan. Start by unbolting the transmission mount from the transmission bolt before removing the transmission mount-to-transmission bolts. Then pull out the transmission mount from the vehicle. The installation process requires transmission mount-to-transmission bolt torque to reach 50 nm (37 lb ft) and the transmission mount bolt torque should be set at 110 nm (81 lb ft). Finish the process by taking out the jack-stand along with block of wood from underneath the Oil Pan and let the vehicle lower to the ground.
