How to replace the right side engine mount on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

Start the right side Engine Mount replacement operation by removing the air cleaner assembly during the first step. The maintenance procedure requires engine support through the installation of the engine support fixture. Raise and support the vehicle. You should start by removing the Engine Mount to bracket bolts and Engine Mount to frame rail nuts which permits you to extract the Engine Mount from the vehicle. Prepare the Engine Mount by placing it on the frame rail studs followed by installation of the Engine Mount to frame rail stud nuts until they reach 110 n.m (81 lb ft). Install the Engine Mount to Engine Mount bracket bolts by hand at first until the bolts reach 50 n.m (81 lb ft). After lowering the vehicle users need to remove the engine support before installing the air cleaner assembly.
