How to replace the Windshield Wiper Switch on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

To change the windshield wiper and washer switch, switch off the SIR system. Disassemble the steering column bracket and trim covers, loosen the wire harness and unconnect the switch assembly. Take out the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly. To install, screw the switch mounting bracket and re-connect the wire harness. Install the trim covers back and activate the SIR system.
