How to replace the shock absorber in the rear suspension on 2008 Cadillac STS?

The first step in replacing a rear suspension shock absorber involves taking away the trim panel then moving the sound insulator from the shock tower. If your vehicle has an F55 suspension it needs an electrical connector to be unplugged before removing the upper shock mounting nuts.
