How to replace the battery sensor on 2008 Cadillac CTS?

The I/P harness can be detached at this point to remove the negative battery cable by simply disconnecting the sensor to the I/P harness. Then cut the tie straps and tape of sensor and take it out. Install new sensor using the taping strip facing off, fix it and reconnect the negative battery cable and I/P harness.
