How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 2 on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

To replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) for Bank 1 Sensor 2, you avail yourself of its support for your vehicle by lifting and supporting it and similarly turn off the ignition. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector and remove the HO2S wiring harness from transmission case. The oxygen sensor is easier to remove when the temperature of the engine is more than 48°C (120°F). Next, remove the HO2S. On installing the new HO2S make sure that it has already on it a special anti-seize compound on the sensor threads. In case the original sensor is used, apply the anti-seize compound GM P/N5613695 or its reference on the threads. Mount the HO2S and tighten it to 40 N.m (30 lb ft). Attach the HO2S electrical connector and reinstall the H02S wirign harness to the transmission case and then set the car down.
