First step to replace the bank 2 (Left Side) intake Camshaft Position Sensor requires switching off the ignition along with avoiding any detachment of power steering fluid lines from the reservoir. To achieve access you should remove power steering fluid reservoir bolts and move the reservoir out of the way. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cmp sensor followed by removing its bolt and sensor. Put the cmp sensor into its required location then install and tighten the cmp sensor bolt to 10 n.m (89 lb in) following the indicated fastener notice. Reinstall the power steering fluid reservoir after hooking up the cmp sensor electrical connector.
