How to replace the lower ball joint on 2006 Chevrolet Equinox?

In order to change the lower ball joint, dismount the lower control arm and clamp it. Poke holes through the ball joints then increase the size of the holes scraping away any burs. Be careful not to lose the ball joint, its position. Wipe the control arm, fit the new ball joint and looseness the bolts and then re-fit the control arm.
