Cut the exhaust CMP sensor electric wires then unscrew the CMP sensor bolt while noting that the intake CMP will be the same approach. In order to replace the CMP sensor you should remove the sensor carefully while applying engine oil to the new sensor's O-ring seal followed by checking for any damage before replacing the sensor if necessary. Install and tighten the CMP sensor which resembles the intake CMP sensor while using a CMP sensor bolt with 10 N.m (89 lb in) torque setting. Reconnect the exhaust CMP sensor electrical connector while finishing the job by installing the intake manifold cover.
