How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt?

First, take out the Starter in order to replace the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor. Then remove the ckp sensor wiring harness electrical connector from ckp sensor and remove the ckp sensor bolt before its being removed. For the installation, lubricate the ckp sensor o-ring seal with clean engine oil and have the ckp sensor installed. Mount the ckp sensor bolt and tighten it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Then pin the ckp sensor wiring harness electrical connector to the ckp sensor and finally, reinstall the Starter.
