How to replace the cooling fan and fan shroud on 2005 Chevrolet Equinox?

To change the cooling fan and the shroud, get the front fascia off and drain the coolant. Unclip and unconnect electrical connectors and tire a wire harness. Eliminate closeout panel and mounting bracket bolts. Take out the CRFM assembly, discard the fan assembly bolts and fit the new fan assembly. Install front fascia and reconnect all parts.
