How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) 2 on 2005 Cadillac STS?

Start by removing the Intake Manifold then disconnect the Knock Sensor (KS) electrical connector and fully remove the ks bolt for taking out the ks. When installing the ks ensure both surfaces are completely clean before placing the entire ks so it sits directly against the engine block. Before tightening the bolt to 20 n.m (15 lb ft) for installation, avoid using any washers or spring washers or toothed washers. Reinstall the Intake Manifold once the wiring harness is installed properly with multiple retaining clips and you connect the ks electrical connector .
