How to replace the blower motor resistor assembly on 2005 Buick Century?

Begin the Blower Motor Resistor assembly replacement process by taking out the right side instrument panel insulator. Take the electrical plugs off from both the Blower Motor Resistor and the Blower Motor. Undo the two forward screws of the Blower Motor Resistor but keep a close eye on the restricted slotted opening. Pull the screw from the back of the Blower Motor Resistor to reach and remove the part. Position the new Blower Motor Resistor at its designated place by first placing the forward retaining slots over the screws so they snap into position while ensuring the Blower Motor control processor rests against the hvac module. Secure the rear part of the Blower Motor Resistor with a 1.5 n.m (13 lb in) torque then fasten the forward screws at the same setting. Connect the Blower Motor electrical cable first and then join the Blower Motor Resistor wiring before placing back the right-side instrument panel protective panel.
