How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 on 2004 Buick LeSabre?

The first thing to do in order to replace the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 is to turn off the ignition and lift and support the vehicle. Remove the splash shield and disconnect tab from ho2s electrical connector . Next, disconnect the ho2s electrical connector from the Oxygen Sensor connector. House that removing the ho2s may be problematic when engine temperature is below 48°c (120°F), and excessive force may cause damage to the threads for the Exhaust Manifold or Exhaust Pipe. Remove the Oxygen Sensor from the Exhaust Pipe using the Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194). For installation, fit the Oxygen Sensor in Exhaust Pipe and fasten it using 41 n.m (30 lb ft). Connect the electrical connector of the ho2s and secure the ho2s electrical connector retaining tab. Finally, reinstall the front splash shield and lower the vehicle.
