The j 39194 Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194) should be used to remove the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 1. The first task is to remove the fuel injection sight shield then disable the ignition switch. First detach the ho2s retaining clip from its bracket position while disconnecting the ho2s electrical connector tab from the retaining clip before removing the electrical connector retainer. Lift the vehicle into position while allowing the engine temperature to rise above 48°c (120°F) so removing the sensors becomes simpler. Use j 39194 Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194) to carefully take out the rear Oxygen Sensor from the rear Exhaust Manifold. Installation requires application of special anti-seize compound to new or reused sensor threads using part number 5613695 or equivalent compounds. Screw the rear Oxygen Sensor into the rear Exhaust Manifold until the torque reaches 41 n.m (30 lb ft). Connect the electrical connector to the ho2s then set the ho2s electrical connector tab on the bracket before installing the electrical connector retainer. Last, replace the fuel injection sight shield.
