How to service and repair the door lock cylinder on 2001 Chevrolet Metro?

In order to service the door lock cylinder, the front door trim panel should be removed and the water deflector pulled off. Dismount the lock cylinder and lock rod. To install, attach the lock cylinder using the retaining clip, reassemble the lock rod and install the water deflector and trim panel.
