How to replace the rear door lock actuator on 2001 Chevrolet Metro?

In order to install a replacement to rear door lock actuator, one has to remove the water deflector, rear window and screws holding the window channel. Loose the electrical connector and take out the handle rods and unscrew the door lock. Install the lock, handle rod, and check the play of the push rod. Lastly re-fit the window channel and water deflector.
