How to replace the MAP Sensor on GMC Envoy?

Before changing the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor do disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor. First unfasten the MAP sensor screw before removing the MAP sensor. Check for damage on the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor seal then replace it if any problems are found. Clean engine oil should be used to lubricate the MAP sensor seal before you put the MAP sensor into its position. Secure the MAP sensor screw using a torque of 9 N.m (80 lb.in). After completing the procedure you need to reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP sensor.
