How to replace the rear coil spring insulator on GMC Terrain?

In order to replace the rear spring insulator, you will need to remove the coil spring. Then remove the upper and lower rubber insulators from the coil spring. Silicon lubricant should be sprayed on the insulators before installation so that the process is made easy. Make sure that the part number identification tape on the coil spring is directed outboard of the vehicle, located at the top of the spring. Below and top coil spring insulators need to be seated squarely on to spring. Finally, attach the upper and lower rubber insulators to the coil spring followed by attaching the coil spring.

In order to replace the rear spring insulator, you will need to remove the coil spring. Then remove the upper and lower rubber insulators from the coil spring. Silicon lubricant should be sprayed on the insulators before installation so that the process is made easy. Make sure that the part number identification tape on the coil spring is directed outboard of the vehicle, located at the top of the spring. Below and top coil spring insulators need to be seated squarely on to spring. Finally, attach the upper and lower rubber insulators to the coil spring followed by attaching the coil spring.
