How to replace the front side door window motor on Chevrolet Colorado?

The process to replace front side door Window Regulator motors starts by tension release of counterbalance springs to prevent injuries from regulatory lift arms. The first procedure involves taking out the front door Window Regulator. Drill a hole through both components of the Window Regulator bracket and lift arm before fixing the lift arm with a nut and bolt through this opening while removing the motor component. Remove the front Window Regulator motor from the bracket by disconnecting its mounting bolts before taking it out. When installing the front Window Regulator motor users must follow the fastener notice instructions for correct fitting to the regulator. Install bolts to the regulator bracket where they should be tightened to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). To complete the process reinstall the front Window Regulator on the front door after removing both the nut and bolt from the lift arm.

How to replace the power window motor on Chevrolet S10?

You need to remove the Window Regulator before changing the power Window Motor. Create a hole in both the Window Regulator and sector gear before inserting a bolt combined with a nut through the hole to restrict sector gear movement. After drilling the rivets holding the power Window Motor to the Window Regulator you can pull out the motor while removing the regulator. When mounting the power Window Motor to the Window Regulator make sure to eliminate the sector gear securing equipment along with its nut and bolt components. Mount the rivets to connect the power Window Motor with the Window Regulator before restoring the Window Regulator in place.
