How to replace the power seat switch on Chevrolet Colorado?

The first step is to take off the outer trim panel from the seat cushion, and then remove the switch bezel from the seat. Now, take off the buttons from the switch and push the tabs so the seat switch comes loose from the seat bezel. Disconnect the power seat switch harness at the seat harness, and afterwards, take the power seat switch out from the seat bezel. Attach the power seat switch harness to the seat harness, then put the power seat switch into the seat bezel, verifying that the retaining tabs are locked in. Put the buttons back onto the switch, connect the switch bezel to the seat assembly, and then attach the seat cushion outer trim panel to the seat.

How to replace the power seat switch on Chevrolet S10?

Before changing the power seat switch, take the seat out of the car. After that, unscrew the 3 fasteners that hold the trim panel to the seat and take out the electrical connection from the switch. The switch can be removed by pulling it off the plastic tabs and then unscrewing the assembly. Once done, slide the assembly into the trim panel, using the plastic clips as supports and plug the wire into the correct slot on the back of the switch.
