How to replace the TPMS Sensor on Chevrolet Colorado?

In order to change out the Tire Pressure Indicator Sensor, first lift the vehicle on an appropriate support. Remove the tire/wheel assembly from the vehicle, placing sensor's cap and valve on a clean surface after removal, because the cap is made of aluminum and valve is nickel plated to avoid corrosion. Set the bead breaking fixture 90 degrees from valve stem and slide tire iron or pry bar a little to the right of the sensor body while prying the bead up over mounting/dismounting head. Use the tire machine and rotate the tire/wheel assembly clockwise as you move the bead of the tire to the outside of the wheel rim, then repeat it with the inner bead. After transferring the tire from the wheel, make sure the leftover tire sealant is scrubbed off the inside surfaces. Then push out the tire pressure sensor nut and the sensor itself. For installation, remove all fells from the place of putting the seal on the grommet and insert the sensor into the place of the wheel hole so that the air passage is away from the wheel, by putting the sensor body in a place of 7 N.m (62 lb in), on the interior side of the wheel. Before mounting the same tire, orient the mounting/dismounting head 180 degrees away from valve stem and implement bead transition area, 45 degrees counter clock wise the valve stem, turn the tire whealorum clockwise and do again for farther bead. Mount the tire on the wheel, with the notice that a service replacement tire pressure sensor is supplied in OFF mode and needs to be run at 32 km/h (20 mph) or more for more than 10 seconds in order to shut off the inner roll switch. Lastly, mount the tire/wheel assembly on the vehicle, bring down the vehicle, and familiarize with the tire pressure sensors.

How to replace the TPMS Sensor on Chevrolet Tahoe?

The first step to replace the Tire Pressure Sensor involves lifting the vehicle onto a proper support while removing the tire/wheel assembly. Place the sensor's cap and valve on a clean and dry surface before tire removal from the wheel while maintaining the aluminum cap with its nickel-plated valve undisturbed by other materials. Position the bead breaking fixture at 90 degrees from the valve stem then position the mounting/dismounting head for the tire iron or pry bar entry slightly clockwise of the sensor body as you pry up the tire bead over the head. Use the tire machine to switch the tire/wheel assembly clockwise to move one tire bead toward the outer rim edge then repeat the process for the inside bead before tire dismantling is complete. The process requires complete removal of any remaining tire sealant inside the tire before extracting the sensor and its nut. To mount the sensor start by cleaning all debris from the grommet sealing area next slide the sensor into the wheel hole with air flow facing in a specific direction then tighten the sensor nut and position the sensor body at a 90 degree angle to the inside wheel surface to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.). To install the tire correctly position the mounting/dismounting head 180 degrees from the valve stem and the bead transition area 45 degrees counterclockwise of the valve stem before using the tire machine to rotate the tire/wheel assembly clockwise when moving each tire bead inside the wheel rim. Service replacement tire pressure sensors come from the factory set to OFF mode causing their unique identification codes to remain unavailable for learning into the passenger door modules (PDMs) memory until the sensors spend ten seconds at 32 km/h (20 mph). To finish the process install the tire/wheel assembly on the vehicle then lower the vehicle before learning the tire pressure sensors.
