The replacement process starts by removing the Fuel Rail and proceeding to extract both Fuel Injector retainer clip and fuel injectors off the rail. After removing o-rings (4, 7) from the Fuel Injector one must inspect both fuel rails for the removal of the upper o-ring; if present keep checking the Fuel Rail assembly. New o-rings should be mounted onto Fuel Injector (4, 7) after applying clean engine oil for lubrication. Locate the connector of the Fuel Injector then slip in the Fuel Injector clip. Once the Fuel Injector is positioned in the Fuel Rail opening its connector should face upward as you listen for a confirmation sound indicating proper installation. Finally, reinstall the Fuel Rail.
